Artist Roland St John has been diving and filming marine life for over 30 years. Using the footage to sculpt incredibly detailed work. His passion has led him to use his art to create awareness in protecting threatened species around the world.
Roland is a supporter of The Sea Shepherds Conservation Society. A Board of director for SOLO (Save Our Leatherbacks Operation) Founded by Larry McKenna, to help critically endangered Pacific Leatherback sea turtles. Roland has worked with Shark Angels Founder, Julie Anderson and Director of Operations, Jamie Pollack to educate and ban the sale of shark fin products.
He was inducted into the Ocean Artist Society founded by Wyland, Guy Harvey and Bob Talbot. Now working with Jillian Morris Brake, Founder of Sharks4Kids promoting shark awareness through classrooms globally. Roland has been featured in Ocean Geographic Magazine, Diver Magazine and Ocean Realm Magazine
