***Helpful Maintenance Info:

Everyone likes things there own ways but these are just some helpful hints to aid in your hunt with your snare both now, and over time.

One of the main benefits of using mono is that you can reshape your mono over time and use or we can even replace it. If your mono loop changes shape after many catches, simply heat it up around something round (like a scuba tank) with a hair dryer and mold it back to shape, or bring it to us. You cannot do this with wire braid over time.

When these snares are brand new they will be a tad stiff. They will loosen up during the first use, or you can use a grease lubricant such as Star Brite Snap & Zipper Lubricant to smoothen the pull action up initially. An interesting option in FL is to leave your snare on a car dashboard for a few hours in the sun and this will aid in making the pull action very smooth from the get go.

We can offer wire braid as well if your prefer just please note it when you order in an email with your order number until we offer that option online.
